How we did it

We worked alongside the project’s architects and builders from the early stages of the renovation. That let us plan the system around the design and install all cabling before plastering, so nothing had to be added on later. Once decorating was complete, we returned to fit the keypads, touchscreen, speakers and sensors, then programmed and commissioned the whole system and showed the owners how to use it.

The Result

The house now runs as one connected home. A single keypad press sets the lighting and blinds for the evening, and the Control4 touchscreen brings lighting, heating, music, TV and security together in one place. When the owners go out, one “Away” scene turns off the lights, closes the blinds and sets the alarm.
