when should I service my alarm

It is recommended by Insurance companies that you get your security alarm serviced every year. Monitored alarms are ofcourse serviced every year under the signed up maintenance contract. If you haven't signed up for a maintenance contract and would like to service your alarm as and when needed, a period of 18 months would be ideal. Normally your alarm shows warning light before the battery dies out.

    We service Visonic, Yale, Pyronix, Texecom and Risco Alarms. This includes all make and models like Powermax, Powermaster, Infinite Prime, Agility, LightSys, Premier Elite and Enforcer alarms

  • My installer or security company doesnt operate any more.
    Can I contact Smartech to service my alarm?
    Yes. We can take over maintenance of your security alarm as well as carry out one time service if preferred. We will not be able to renew the smart phone App for Pyronix Alarms before it is de-registered from your previous installer's cloud id. This can be done by raising a ticket with Pyronix - Raise a ticket

  • Who service my alarm?
    It is Smartech's own employees who would be coming for the service visit. They are all DBS checked and security screened according to NSI standards and would be visitng you in company van and Smartech's uniform.

  • How much is an Emergency callout?
    There is a cost of £90 inc VAT requested during working hours (8:00am to 5:00pm). For out of office hours and weekends, there is a callout charge of £120 inc VAT.

  • Do you cover the whole of the UK?
    No. We are a local security company based in Farnham Common, Slough. We provide security system service to residential and commercial properties within 50 miles radius of our office.

  • How can I book an alarm service?

  • Would I get alarm service paperworks?
    Yes. We will supply service report for all NSI certified installed alarms by email. Others, please speak with the service Engineer to get one send to your email id.

  • Can Smartech service ADT alarm?
    No. ADT alarm are locked and it will not be possible for us to service ADT alarms which are still under contract.

  • How long is the burglar alarm service appointment?
    For a standard 3 bedroom semi-detatched house, it would take anywhere between 25 mins to 45 mins.
